RDU, Aquafina, Vet Tix & You

Through March 31st, 2021, a portion of every Aquafina purchased at RDU will go towards providing tickets for our amazing veterans.

For every bottle of Aquafina, any size, sold to Raleigh-Durham International Airport (RDU) concessionaires, between February 25, 2021 and March 31, 2021, Pepsi Bottling Ventures (PBV) will donate $0.10/bottle (e.g. $2.40 per 24 count case; $1.50 per 15 count case, etc.) to Veterans Ticket Foundation (Vet Tix), a 501c3, which teams up with major sports teams, league promoters, organizations, venues and season ticket holders to provide free tickets to currently active duty service members and veterans of all US military branches. PBV’s donation will be no less than $2,000; and the funds donated in connection with this program will be invested to provide more tickets in the greater Raleigh-Durham area. Delayed starts to sport seasons and other restrictions for entertainment venues, as well as government regulations which set attendance limits, are intended to deter the spread of Covid-19. Therefore, the tickets provided in connection with this program will most likely be distributed in the latter half of 2021 and early 2022 if government regulations permit increased attendance. Before attending any event, individuals should consider and make a personal decision regarding the severity of illness in the event area, and should practice wellness self-checks, social distancing, frequent hand washing and sanitization efforts, and adhere to applicable regulations in effect such as facial covering requirements.
